Ruminating

ru·mi·nate
ˈro͞oməˌnāt/
verb
verb: ruminate; 3rd person present: ruminates; past tense: ruminated; past participle: ruminated; gerund or present participle: ruminating
think deeply about something.
"we sat ruminating on the nature of existence"

When I returned home from (fantastic-can't-wait-to-go-back) Portland, I felt like my time home would be fleeting with so much to do. I spent several day ruminating and procrastinating and making work for myself scheduling meetings and attending events. I then realized I am leaving a day earlier than I had in my head (I did the same thing for Portland, can you believe?) This said, I am ALL organized. I have my demo materials all set, my lecture ready, my fashion forward wardrobe determined and rolled in tight little rolls to fit in my wee suitcase along with all the other stuff. I look forward to seeing my friends in Baltimore/D.C. and I am happy that I was not there last week given the rain and road collapse. I will update you on the events of the week. Stay tuned...
